Race for the Cure We are happy to announce a "Quarters for Quarters" program, whereby for every room ("quarters") rented, we donate twenty-five cents to the Race for the Cure, a fund-raising event for breast cancer research. Every July a race will be held in Manchester Center; there were over 3000 participants last year. We hope to attract additional runners to the race and we also hope that you will match Ormsby Hill's donation by adding another quarter in the "outhouse" bank by the office door.

June 19-28: Nobody Don’t Like Yogi - A Dorset Theatre production. Teddy Coluca (Henry the Butler in last season’s DULCY) stars in this story of Yogi Berra's return after a 14-year absence from Yankee Stadium. Reminiscing about greats like Mantle and Maris, relating his own unlikely path to the majors, and revealing himself as a husband, father, and friend, this play will charm even the most hardened Red Sox fan! For more information and tickets, visit www.dorsettheatrefestival.org.

July 3-19: The Dinner Table - A Dorset Theatre production. A.R. Gurney's masterpiece of 20th Century family life - formal, informal, and impossible - explodes across the stage in a series of scenes dissecting birthday parties, holidays, breakfasts, affairs, and every imaginable form of American familial relations. Spanning the century and a single day at the same time, The Dining Room is a humorous and moving evocation of family life, past and present. For more information and tickets, visit www.dorsettheatrefestival.org.

June 24 - July 5: Doubt - A Weston Playhouse production. Winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Doubt has become the most produced play in America. In a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, a strong-minded nun must decide whether to voice her concerns about a male colleague, even if she’s not completely certain of the truth. Doubt is a story filled with suspicions and dilemmas so real, you’ll be talking about it long after you leave the theatre. For more information visit www.WestonPlayhouse.org.

July 10 - July 26: The Light in the Piazza - A Weston Playhouse production. Hailed by the New York Times as “the most romantic score since West Side Story,” this winner of six Tony Awards sold out when performed in concert on the Playhouse stage in 2005. Now the musical makes its New England premiere in a thrilling new production. On a trip to Florence, an innocent American girl finds love with a handsome young Italian. An anxious mother must reveal the truth that will test her daughter’s relationship – and her own heart’s willingness to find love again. For more information visit www.WestonPlayhouse.org.

July 23 - August 10: No Child... - A Weston Playhouse production. This 2006 Obie Award winner, recently seen on tour across the country, is a bravura performance not to be missed. Reminiscent of I Am My Own Wife and The Syringa Tree, a single actor populates all of Malcolm X High School, playing students, teachers, administrators, parents – even the janitor and security guard. No Child… is a heartwarming and heart wrenching look at the difference one teacher can make. For more information visit www.WestonPlayhouse.org.

July 24 - August 9: A Year with Frog and Toad - A Dorset Theatre production. A Broadway hit in 2003, reimagined by Off-Broadway's most original director. We are thrilled to bring Lear deBessonet's great gifts to Vermont with this visual, comedic feast about the value of friendship. A charming, jazzy musical version of the much beloved Arnold Lobel stories that will be fun for all ages. For more information and tickets, visit www.dorsettheatrefestival.org

July 31 - August 23: Les Miserables - A Weston Playhouse production. The international blockbuster makes its long-awaited Vermont premiere in one of the largest productions ever mounted on the Weston stage! Winner of eight Tony® awards including Best Musical, this unforgettable saga of love, courage and redemption in the life of escaped prisoner, Jean Valjean, is told through such memorable songs as “Who Am I?,” “Master of the House,” and “One Day More.” For more information visit www.WestonPlayhouse.org.

August 13-30: June Moon - A Dorset Theatre production. The only collaboration between Kaufman and the great Ring Lardner tells the story of a young songwriter who meets the right girl on the train into the Big Apple – where he then meets the wrong girl, and pens the song that will make his fortune! A comedic romp set in the wild and unpredictable music business of the 1920s. For more information and tickets, visit www.dorsettheatrefestival.org.

August 28 - September 6: As You Like It - A Weston Playhouse production. Shakespeare’s tale of ardent lovers in the Forest of Arden has been an audience favorite for more than 400 years. A magnificent mixture of colorful characters, soaring music and witty verse, As You Like It proves that soulmates can be found in the most unexpected places. Come see our fresh approach to this timeless classic before it embarks on a New England tour. For more information visit www.WestonPlayhouse.org.
