Check in on Friday and we will be serving a Friday-night supper at 6:00. At 7:30, you will be at The Dorset Theatre for a holiday performance by the Dorset Theatre Players.

On Saturday, we will be holding the open house tour between 12-4 p.m. showing off our holiday finery!! All proceeds of our tour will benefit the Vermont-New Hampshire Komen Race for the Cure. At Ormsby Hill, we will be having a very special tasting of Vermont prize winning cheeses, including cheeses from Cabot, Taylor Farm and others. There will be a "pink" gift bag filled with special offerings from local businesses, including: Christmas Days, Equinox Valley Nursery, Green Door Day Spa, Hildene, Manchester Designer Outlets, Manchester Hot Glass, Northeastern Fine Jewelry, Orvis, Pets Etc., Southern Vermont Art Center, The Kitchen Store at JK Adams, The Lighting Place, Vermont Bird Place & Sky Watch, Yarns for Your Soul. On Saturday, December 10th, from 1-3 p.m. meet Archer Mayor, the 2004 winner of the New England Booksellers Association award for best fiction-the first time a writer of crime literature has been so honored. He is the author of the highly acclaimed, Vermont-based series featuring detective Joe Gunther, which the Chicago Tribune describes as "the best police procedurals being written in America." In addition, Mayor is a death investigator for Vermont's Chief Medical Examiner, a deputy for the Windham County Sheriff's Department. He will be signing his new release "Tag Man".

On the evening of the 3rd, for those guests who are here that weekend, be treated to a performance of the Night Before Christmas by Peter and Paul (of Peter. Paul and Mary fame!).

Upon your departure, you will be visiting a local nursery and taking home a Vermont Christmas tree. What could possibly be more festive than driving home with a tree tied to the top of your vehicle!!!!!
