Named after the Revolutionary War hero, this is a very secluded first-floor room, with a private outside entrance and deck with views of the Green Mountains; it's almost like having a cottage inside an inn. This room was honored as a Waverly Room of the Year by Country Inns ("for a beautiful use of Waverly in a traditional setting") and features a handsome, ornate queen canopy bed and a slim-line digital flat-screen TV. The room is noted for romantic appointments, for example the fireplace can be viewed from both the bed and from the Jacuzzi for two (behind special raised-paneled doors). The bathroom is fully tiled and also contains a shower.
